This is the biggest folkloric museum of Evrytania and it houses collections depicting the daily lives of people: Traditional costumes, textiles, appliances, tools of professions that do not exist anymore, agricultural tools and many folk art objects. All items in the exhibition are donations of local residents.
One of the most impressive exhibits is the old clock of the belfry of the village with marks of bullets. They say that the Germans stopped the shooting of the village when they saw that the clock was made in Germany. Also some of the most touching exhibits are the letters that the villagers sent to their families before their execution by the Italians in 1942. In the museum you will also find a library with rare editions and manuscripts.
